EXECUTIVE COACHING

For Individual Executives & Executives-To-Be

For Companies
and Teams

 FOR INDIVIDUAL EXECUTIVES
AND EXECUTIVES-TO-BE

Where clients usually start

You’re automatically saying “fine” all the time. Do you notice that? Or have you been saying “fine” for so long that you don’t even hear it.

“It’s fine. I’ll just do it myself.”

“With more money comes more hours. It will be fine.”

“I’ll be fine. I’m this deep into my career – it’s too late to change. I’ll suck it up until I retire.”

“People are counting on me to do all the work I’ve taken on. I have to be fine with it.”

“It’s fine. This place is so toxic, but if no one else is going to help me fix it, it is what it is.”

It didn’t start out “fine”

If it had started out fine, you would have picked something different early on.

Instead, you chose a career (or your career chose you) and you were excited about it. You saw your future in the people you reported to. You saw other jobs in your industry that felt like great next steps. And you saw money in your future.

They gave you pats on the back for your work, began inviting you into rooms you had only peeked into the windows of, and made you the go-to person for, well, everything.

It was not only flattering to be praised and promoted, it actually made your career. You wouldn’t have gotten to executive status, this income level, without all of the work you’ve put in, all of the trust you’ve built.

It felt so good . . . until it didn’t

What felt so good as you were up-and-coming now feels like being backed into a corner that you can’t dig your way out of.

Any (or all) of these might be true for you:

  • You’re in the right job, but you don’t feel good in it or don’t feel like you’re killing it the way you used to.

  • You’re in the wrong job, but you’ve been there for so long, you can’t imagine what else you can do.

  • You’re in the wrong career entirely and you have dreams of doing something else, but it feels like it’s too late.

  • You can’t get a grasp on how to do better, or more (or less!), at work.

  • You love your job, but you’re working so much that you can’t make time for anything else and your relationships, with others and yourself, are suffering.

Whatever your situation, you feel exhausted, resentful, guilty for wanting something different, and afraid there’s no other way for you.

You can choose to make it different

If you recognize yourself in any of the above statements, this work is for you.

Career-centered, heart-driven corporate leaders partner with me to work on emerging from burnout, creating healthy boundaries, and digging out of busyness.

It’s not too late. You’re not too old. You don’t have to keep doing it this way just because that’s how you’ve always done it.

You get to choose your future, even if you don’t know what that looks like yet, and even if you feel too busy to think about it.

You might be thinking, “I don’t even have time to talk to you about coaching, Lauren, let alone making the time for actual coaching.”

Our first priority will be figuring out together how to create the time and space you need to begin this work. We’ll integrate coaching into your life in a way that doesn’t feel like even more responsibility, and I will partner with you so you can discover the joys of being a happy, fulfilled, less stressed executive – or executive-to-be – in ways you’ve never thought possible before.

Clients who I’ve worked with, who didn’t even know what they wanted when we started working together, have gotten these results:

  • Six figure salary increases

  • Titles two levels above where they were

  • Better boundaries with coworkers and bosses, stopping everyone from automatically turning to them for more work

  • Time to go to their daughter’s Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day school events.

  • Telling their own bosses what they need to be successful and actually getting it

  • Hiring new team members or handing work off to another department that never belonged with them in the first place, without feeling guilty, lazy, or like they’re going to get in trouble.

Let’s take 30 minutes to strategize and talk about what an amazing career (and life) you can create through executive coaching.

FOR COMPANIES AND TEAMS

Where clients usually start

Your leadership team is exhausted and the stress feels neverending.Telling everyone that things “will calm down soon” isn’t working anymore. You can see the stress in everyone’s faces, including your own when you look in the mirror.

You’re running an amazing company, but you can’t do the work and support people alone

Whether your company has HR support or not, the people who work with you need support outside of the day to day, and outside of not-so-simply figuring everything out on their own.

The most successful leaders (like you) surround themselves with sharp, clever, and supportive advisors – including coaches.

You, and your leadership team, have so much weighing on your day-to-day that it’s absolutely normal to forget that you don’t have to get lost in the work, even when the work is your passion.

You are so tired of assuring your team you’re all just fine

You know that it’s not fine (for your team or you) to:

  • Sit in overwhelm, wondering how you’re going to get all of *this* done.

  • Cancel doctor’s appointments, dinner with family or friends, going to the gym, or just taking off when you have a headache, because the work needs to be done.

  • Work yourself so hard that some days, you can’t remember if you’ve eaten, gotten up from your desk, or talked to anyone outside of your packed meeting schedule.

  • Take on my work yourself because you feel guilty delegating to your team because you’re afraid you’ll bury them in work.

  • Go home every night well after the time you intended to stop working, only to tell your spouse, partner, or dog that work was “fine”, while you’re still spiraling about how much work waits for you tomorrow.

Your whole team (which includes you) deserves to be successful and also absolutely love the work you do

The Fine is a Trap model offers both individual and group coaching to support your team. Together, we’ll discover how to achieve company, personal, and professional goals.

Executive coaching offers your leadership team the opportunity to explore what currently feels “fine” both in their work and professional development.

Together, through individual and/or group coaching, we will:

  • Identify what’s not working, what bogs your leaders down, adding stress to the day/week/month/year.

  • Find what holds you back from making leaps forward in the company.

  • Discover what you actually want to happen in the company, individually and together.

  • Co-create the what, when, and how to bring you personal and professional success, impact, and joy.

When your team is taken care of – and taking care of themselves – your product, service, and client is better taken care of.

Let’s schedule a time to talk about how executive coaching can transform how your team works.
